About Me

Me Riding a RhinoWell, it seems that you've managed to find my Web site. Hopefully, I won't change the design for a while. Maybe this one will be a winner?

Anyway, here's a brief on me:

I'm 25 years old, living in Liberty, MO and working full-time at Bayer CropScience in Kansas City, MO as a plant operator. Some people know me from the 2 1/2 years I attended the University of Missouri--Columbia. Others may know me from living in Liberty. It seems like both towns hold separate crowds and reputations.

I trained in RyuTe Karate for years but haven't done so in a while. Responsibilities keep getting in the way. I play a decent amount of video games; my favorites are Counter-Strike: Source and Halo 2. I also am into computers, maybe a little too much. I make Web sites when I'm not at Bayer. My primary Webmaster responsibilities are the America Crown Award, Big Horn Asics Nationals, Dixie Asics Nationals, Liberty Asics Nationals, and West Coast Asics Nationals Web sites for my RyuTe instuctor, Renshi Bill Gossett. I lift weights when I can, and spend most of my free time with my girlfriend Julia when neither one of us is at work. I drive around a piece of junk 1993 Ford Thunderbird.

I belong to the Delta Chi Fraternity, and was involved with the Mizzou Linux Users Group quite a bit back in the day. Before leaving Columbia, I trained in Aikido. When I came back, I tried Hapkido. It wasn't my type of thing.

Before all this, I grew up in Liberty and graduated class of 1999 from Liberty High School.

Right now I'm working all the time and taking it easy when I can. I spend most of my free time with my girlfriend, and when she's not around the cat bites me all the time to let me know that he is the dominant male, and that I have no place imposing my will on him in an apartment that I pay rent. My current goals are to get my finances completely straight and expand my Web Developer skills to their fullest. This includes having a deep knowledge of XHTML, PHP, MySQL, Flash, Actionscript, Java, and the LAMP stack. I want to take my skills above that of a mere part time Web Developer and move into the realm of full-blown interactive professional and skillful Web site creation.

I write about random stuff in my Myspace blog a lot. It's easy and conveniant, and I honestly don't think anyone would even see it if I didn't put it on Myspace.
